Tan and Eun Sang both arrived at the party. Eun Sang is feeling nervous but Tan said that it was a honor for since she went the with him. They greeted both dad and JS who are obviously shocked. Dad scolded them in a private room after chasing the reporters away. Tan told his dad that Eun Sang is better than what the world have to offer him. He asked for dad's permission to date Eun Sang. Dad permitted them warning that they will regret later in life.
Eun Sang asked Tan if the statement from dad is at a permission or threat, Tan: "permission can turn into threat anytime". Eun Sang wished him Happy Birthday. They hugged.
Tan and Eun Sang both went to celebrate his birthday with his mother who is staying at the Zeus Hotel. He blew the candle and presented mom with a key necklace and thanked her for giving birth to him..so sweet of him..Tan's mom went to Eun Sang house the next day.
Tan went to meet Young Do and thanked him for saving his mom earlier. Young Do "I didn't lose my mom because of you, she was the one who left first".
Meanwhile Tan's mom are having soju with Eun Sang's mom. Both are quite drunk. Tan's mom said that she's receiving punishment for taking someone's husband. She left and sit in front of the beach and cried.
Tan and Eun Sang met Kim Won at a restaurant. Won suggested that Eun Sang moved to the apartment but she refused saying that she and Tan might break up in the future but Tan as usual said that Eun Sang is her future right now. They are cute in this scene which makes Won smiled.
Both of them then went to meet Eun Sang mom to seek her permission to date. But mom said she can't permitted since Eun Sang was hurt before. Tan's mom argued that Tan is tall, handsome and cares about Eun Sang. Even then mom still doesn't approved. Since Tan doesn't understand hand language, he asked Eun Sang but she lied saying only good things. Mom is mad and tried to hit Eun Sang but Tan blocked her and was hit instead. He pretended to be hurt (this was cute!!) and mom threaten to file charges. Eun Sang mom then smiled..silently given the permission.
Eun Sang and mom moved to their previous home, Tan was there already. He gave her surprise by showing a video of her. He back hugged her as they watch the video. They had a playful time together and play around. Finally she gave him a peck on the cheek.
The result for the final exam are out. Kim Tan is hiding the score from everyone and tore the result sheet when he saw Eun Sang...haha..very2 funny..he ended up at 50th place while Young Do at 27th and Myung Soo? 100th!! haha..before that he stole Eun Sang wallet while bickering with the result sheet..
Young Do is having a judo fight with dad again, this time he won. He asked dad where is his mom. Dad replied that he didn't know..he went to the restaurant again and the ahjumma gave him a business card..it was from his mom..he was sad..again...I am very pity with this boy..
Tan stopped Bo Na and asked her Eun Sang's taste in style. He wanted to buy her a purse I guess since he took it from her earlier..
Both Bo Na and Eun Sang are with Hyo Shin. They are planning something with another school and they planned to meet the other school representative at the cafe. Hyo Shin told both Tan and Chan Young. Both of them showed up and chase the boys away...
Tan and Eun Sang left the cafe. They walked together. tan said that he likes they are arguing everyday, it makes him happy. Eun Sang asked him where is her wallet. He throw a bag at her. Inside is a new wallet with Tan's photo inside..so sweet..
These two met at a cafe and talks about their life. Esther ended up feeling regret about her life without Yoon.
Tan is having a drink with mom.Tan said that mom is all he has now as a dad. Mom asked him to visit dad...he refused. At home dad is alone. He suddenly collapse and was sent to the hospital. Tan, Won and mom rushed to hospital. The doctor said that dad is brain damaged and cannot be operated. Both Tan and Won are asd to hear the news.
While dad is in hospital. JS are thinking hard. Her brother insist that she replace Won and take over the Jeguk Group for revenge to dad of what she has been suffering until now. Yoon reminds both Tan and Won about this matter. Tan asked mom to leave the hospital since JS might came by.
JS gathers all the relatives and asked them to support her to take over the company. She said that she didn't trust both Tan and Won.
Young Do is at his room. Looking at the business card left by mom. He then went to wash the dishes when he heard that the prosecutor had ambush dad's office. He rushed in dad's room and tried to stop them from taking the files but dad stopped him.
JS went to the hospital. She remind Tan that she is his legal guardian now since dad is in coma. Tan warned her not to touch his share because he will hand them over to Won. JS said go ahead but beware of a world full of ambition and greedy people who takes away other peoples right...give and take!! Won came in and asked Tan to leave and not to worried.
Tan left but heads to the rooftop. He looks out into Seoul. He then notices YD is there too. YD notices too now. They face each other. Silently. They go back to staring out into Seoul, each lost in their own thought. Both are now burdened with new troubles. But looks that they understand each other..
