Lee Min-ho draws crowds of fans in China

The filming for a promotional campaign featuring Lee Min-ho had to be temporarily halted several times because of fans rushing onto the set in Xiamen, China, local and Chinese news reported Sunday.

In the released photos from his management agency, staff members struggled to keep the crowed in check and sneaked into the buildings away from the fans.

The Chinese police ordered the production team to halt the filming temporarily to prevent safety-related accidents as crowds swarmed around the set.

The remaining filming, however, was carried out without major problems as the production team members and Lee completed the shooting in different locations, according to a representative of Lee’s management agency Starhaus Entertainment.

“We even had to hold an emergency meeting to deal with the unexpected situation. We did not expect these many fans to find the set and come. We are grateful for their support and cooperation,” the representative said.

Meanwhile, the reviews and pictures released by the fans who were present at the site are gaining attention from the Chinese netizens. A good number of fans have reported that Lee never lost his temper and smiled throughout the shooting despite his hectic schedule.

Lee, now one of the most celebrated stars across Asia, is currently reviewing his next projects while taking part in the commercial campaigns.
