Lee Min Ho as Gu Jun Pyo

Boys Over Flowers was my first Lee Min Ho's drama. Once I set my eyes on him, I can't get him over my mind. It's like he's all that a women ever wanted in a man. Is it Lee Min Ho or Gu Jun Pyo character's that makes me and all of us attracted? Although with his bad boy attitude, yet we still fell in love with his warmth and kindness.

One of my regular blog reader also is a fanatic fan of the F4 Leader's character in Boys Over Flowers that is Gu Jun Pyo. Knowing her love and interest in his character, I decided to make a review on Gu Jun Pyo's character. What makes people love him so much? Lets cherish our favourite flower boy..

Who is Jun Pyo?

Gu Jun-pyo is the leader of F4 and heir to Shinhwa Group, one of the most powerful business groups in South Korea. As leader of the most popular and powerful clique in Shinhwa High, he torments Geum Jan-di after she stands up to his bullying ways, but ends up falling for her instead. His family is one of the most rich and elite in the country.

Why We loved him ?

Jun Pyo was the perfect flower boy! Although he suffered inside which caused by painful memories and overwhelming loneliness from lack of love, he had the best reasons for his every actions based on his - being lonely. A child longing for affection and attention.

Even if his acts were devoid of basic empathy, we see a pure heart in this man. With a monster mother to fight against, and a dark twisted family secret, this boy experienced it all.  He only feel and experienced loved with his first love Jan Di and therefore he can't give her up no matter what happened since he treasures his love.

In such a respect, I adore this character because of his limits and most importantly how his potential depended on the contribution of other character's influences. Jun Pyo, with his impersonal and lack upbringing eventually came to gather his strength, potential and emotional maturity from those around him, a major change in personality that reflects his overall character growth.

His character displayed a naive kind of man that evolves at a rapid shift of character once he started to care. His ability to change, reflect a character that played the ultimate role. He was a jerk with a heart of gold, the man who had it all but family, a man who cared more than his chaebol world would granted.

The most important thing about him is that he realized his limits, yes he's not able to conquer all but accepted, and learned from his experienced. As soon as he found the meaning of love, he turned into a sweet yet affectionate and more responsible to others.

Lee Min Ho's great acting skills, his handsome and outstanding features also added as a bonus to this Gu Jun Pyo character.

With that I salute to my favourite flower boy,  Gu Jun Pyo, a great character indeed.
